Are your pieces handmade?

Yes. Every Clay Assembly piece is hand-thrown in small batches from durable stoneware. Subtle variations in form, tone, and glaze are a natural part of the making process — and a reflection of the hands behind the work.

Will my piece look exactly like the one photographed?

Each piece is individually made and glazed, so slight variations in colour and finish are to be expected. These nuances are part of what makes handmade ceramics special and ensure that no two pieces are identical.

Are your ceramics food safe?

Yes. All glazes used are food safe and suitable for everyday use.

Are they dishwasher and microwave safe?

Yes. All tableware is microwave, oven and dishwasher safe.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your parcel with photographs of the item and packaging.

Due to the handmade nature of our work, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind. Please read our full returns policy for more information.

How long will my order take to ship?

Ready-made pieces are dispatched within a few business days.
If your item is made to order, please allow additional time for production. Estimated timeframes are noted on each product listing however typically this is withing 10-14 days.

Do you ship internationally?

How should I care for my ceramics?

Handmade ceramics are designed for everyday use, but like all well-loved objects, they benefit from care. Avoid thermal shock (for example, placing a cold plate into a hot oven) and store thoughtfully.
